Instagram Hacks 1: Use your unique font on the stories-
When it comes to fonts, the option on Instagram is limited. For example, Instagram only offers five fonts for Stories — Classic, Modern, Typewriter, Neon, and Strong. Brands want something, which is more personalized. While there’s no way to get fonts in the app, there are tricks that can help you find better fonts for your brand or purpose.
How to do it:
- Open a font tool. Many free Instagram font tools give you several options to choose from, for example, Fonts for Instagram or Instagram Fonts.
- Decide what you want to create or write, and type it in the box of the fonts app which you’ve selected.
- Check out the fonts available and see how your text looks in different styles. Then, select the font that best suits the aesthetic of your brand.
- When you’ve decided which font you want to use, copy the text and open the Instagram app again. Then paste it in your Stories, caption, or bio.
Instagram Hack 2: Get additional colors from the color selection
Are you frustrated that the colors in your brand don’t match the colors available in Stories? One fact that probably not everyone knows is that you can use far more colors than those offered by default in the color selection tool.
How to do it:
- Open Stories and tap on the drawing pen icons.
- Hold your finger and click on one of the colors at the bottom(this is an important part).
- Ta-da, a palette of new gradient colors will now appear, and you can move your finger to select any color you like of your choice.
You can also do this for anything you want to color or for text. Choose from the palette that appears and Hold your finger on one of the colors to select.
3: Add multiple hashtags to Stories and make them invisible
This Instagram hacks best among all the hacks. Adding hashtags to your Instagram Stories is one of the best ways to increase your organic reach and find new potential followers and customers. However, while you can use up to 30 hashtags for your feed posts, using more than one hashtag in your stories can seem a bit spammy. So what do you do? Well, you can make them invisible!
How to do it:
- Open Stories, and select the photo which you want to upload.
- Type your first hashtag and move it to a solid background area of your image.
- Tap on the pen icon and drag it over the photo until the hashtag color matches the background.
- Cheers. Your hashtag is invisible, and now you can repeat this process if you want to add more hashtags.
Instagram Hack 4: Change stickers by tapping/clicking on them
A golden but straightforward tip: Try tapping on the stickers in Stories to change their appearance; for example, change their color.
While this is not a game-changing trick, remember that on social media, minor details matter.
Instagram Hack 5: Share a preview of your Post
Mostly Instagram Stories are for well-known stories. But if your first photo or video posts doesn’t capture your audience, they’ll skip over and not flip the rest of your content. So, how do you build up your curiosity? First, share a glimpse of your Story/post!

- Open Stories and select a picture.
- Again, tap the pen icon and choose a color.
- Click on your screen, hold for a few seconds, and your Instagram stories screen will now be filled with the color you choose.
- Click on the eraser icon in the upper right corner.
- Now, swipe up the screen to erase it with your finger. The picture below will appear where you have “Erased.”

- Scroll to the end of your filters corner, click Manage.
- If you click and hold the three-line icon to the left of each Filter, you can drag the filters around and rearrange their orders.

This one is our favorite hack among all; it’s beneficial for replying to comments on platforms like Instagram or Facebook. In the example below, we’ll explain how to do it on iOS, but you can do it on Android as well.

- Open your iPhone settings.
- Go to General and then to Keyboard.
- Tap on the Text Replacement.

You won’t see a call-to-action from your admin view, but when your followers see your Story, they can swipe up to your IGTV video. A great way to cross-promote your content!
Instagram Hack 9: Save your posts to collections
It’s not a hidden feature, but it’s an intelligent way to beat Instagram’s algorithm. On Instagram, you want to expand your organic exposure. Hence, higher engagement in comments and likes generally will be in your favor and make your post reach as many people as possible. Other factors that will improve your ranking are recency, i.e., how recently the Post was shared and the relationship between you and your audience.
But something that is often seen is the ‘Save‘ feature on Instagram. When someone saves your content, Instagram will convert it as relevant or important in some way, thereby improving your ranking. And while you can’t force your followers or someone to save your posts, you can save your posts permanently. So if you have multiple accounts, for example, different brand accounts and a personal account, take advantage of this and keep your content from various profiles.
How to do it:
- Find the image which you want to save in your profile/feed.
- Tap the Save icon in the bottom right corner of your image, just above the caption.
- Save it.
- Done! If you’re an admin of several accounts, then you can repeat this process.
Instagram Hack 10: Make your posts shoppable
Okay, it’s apparent that this isn’t an influencer hack, but it’s such a fantastic underrated feature that we think you should check it out if you haven’t already. If your business is selling physical goods/products, take the opportunity to sell through Instagram. You will need to follow some steps to get started, but we promise it’s worth the hassle. In combination with the time-saving UGC tool, this can significantly increase your conversions and brand engagement.
The following criteria must be met to get access to this feature:
- You must have an Instagram business account.
- The United States, Canada, Brazil, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, or Australia must be located in one country.
- The goods/products you sell must comply with Instagram’s Merchant Agreement and Commerce Policies.
- Your Instagram account must be linked to the Facebook Catalog (a file that lists your products).
How to attract your product catalog to your Instagram account:
- First, you need to create a Facebook catalog, and you can do this in Facebook Business Manager. Once you have made your catalog and your account is approved for the Shopping feature, you can continue with the next step below.
- In your Instagram settings, Go to the Shopping section. Note that you will only see the Shopping link in your settings if your account is approved for the Shopping feature. Approval usually takes a day or so, but the process can sometimes take longer. So, be patient.
- When you’ve clicked on Shopping in your settings, go ahead and then tap Products.
- Tap on Continue and select the product catalog which you want to connect to your profile.
- Tap Done when you’re finished.
Through these Instagram hacks now you can upload photos as you usually would and tag any of your products the same way you tag(@) people.
